Crafted from pure Murrister Wirset wool, this snood is knitted on a traditional hand-frame machine to create a timeless Fair Isle design. 
 
Our unique yarn is born from a collaboration between knitwear designer Alison Rendall (Shetland Wool Week Patron 2023) and her neighbour, crofter Hubert Moar. 
 
By combining their expertise, they have produced the finest possible yarn from native Shetland sheep ~ a hardy breed that has evolved over centuries to yield some of the world's most exceptional, high-quality wool.
